Beginning in November 2005 with a 6 years old boy named Hoang Son, Lua Viet has been supporting heart surgery for children whose family otherwise has no mean for continuning their life. Since then, Lua Viet has funded heart surgery for over a dozen children, and we are actively raising fund for this program. Lua Viet local representative interviews and carefully studies each case to ensure that the child is a good candidate for heart surgery, and that the family is indeed without mean. Lua Viet is fortunate to have developed a good working relationship with the heart surgeon team at a highly qualified hospital in Saigon. This team evaluates and performs each surgery case.

Each case is unique and there is always risk involved. Lua Viet asks for your support in giving some of these children a second chance in life.
